About us

Voted “Best of Awards” for Outstanding Teachers in San Diego County

Dance Excellence since 1989

The Oceanside Dance Academy is a professional dance school devoted to creating a positive performing arts environment for all age groups. We believe the quality of our dance environment enriches the lives of our dancers, encouraging a powerful outlet for freedom of expression, creativity, and confidence. We also support a team approach that emphasizes commitment to the team yet allows each student to achieve his/her personal best.

Our credentialed faculty strive to enhance each student’s self-esteem through increased technical skills, designed to motivate achievement of personal goals, discipline, responsibility, and appreciation of the many dance art forms – from ballet to hip hop, We are totally dedicated to providing the best possible learning experience for all our students in a nurturing, encouraging, and fun family environment. It is our goal to find the perfect class that fits your child’s needs and to nurture their growth throughout their time with us. Our strength lies in knowing how to bring out the very best in your child with our supportive, hands-on teaching style. ODA teachers were voted the “Best of Award” in San Diego for our outstanding dance instructors.

The ODA strongly encourages multiple performance opportunities, because every performance helps each student exercise confidence in their artistry and the rewards of audience appreciation. We perform and enjoy many family fun events together; our ODA annual holiday shows, the San Diego County Fair, various school fairs, Camp Pendleton, kids fair, senior retirement homes, and our annual recital.

It is our pleasure to share our knowledge and love of dance with your child. We welcome you into the ODA family and look forward to a long-lasting, memorable relationship. If you need additional information please contact us by phone or e-mail.
